Oven baked maple glazed salmon8/16/2023 ![]() ![]() When I look for salmon, I try to go with wild-caught. 7 Ingredients 1/2 cup (125ml) freshly squeezed orange juice 1/3 cup (80ml) maple syrup 2 tsp freshly grated ginger 1 garlic clove, crushed 4 x 180g salmon. At the same time, the hearty flavors of dijon and maple make the whole house smell wonderful and cozy. The flavors in this dish are lovely any time of year, but I especially enjoy the freshness of seafood as springtime approaches. ![]() Brush the fish with pure maple syrup (or pour it over the fish) and place on the second to the top rack under the broiler. Place the salmon fillet in a re-sealable plastic bag. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and broil for 6-9. Remove the salmon from the oven and change the oven setting to high broil. Directions In a small bowl whisk the soy sauce, maple syrup, garlic, ginger, and orange zest together. (That might also help picky eaters feel encouraged to try fish! □) Bake on the center rack of the oven for 15 to 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fish). SO, if you’re like me, and you like involving your kids in the kitchen when possible, this is a good time to do it! Children can help season the fillets with pinches of salt, mix up the sauce, and brush it on. Remove the salmon from the maple sauce and transfer to foil-lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Place the salmon flesh side down in the maple sauce. It’s also the most tender salmon you’ll ever taste, thanks to the MAYO! Let’s not forget the juiciness and creaminess that comes with that, too! □ In a 9×13 inch baking dish, whisk together the maple, soy sauce, orange juice, salt, and pepper.
